Lightning IQ Expands Leadership Ranks: Names Dan Kinney Executive Vice President, Sales & Field Chief Technology Officer

Arlington, VA. February 10, 2026 – Lightning IQ, a leader in enterprise data intelligence software, today announced the appointment of Dan Kinney as Executive Vice President, Sales &Field Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Kinney brings more than 25 years of experience advising major corporations on legal discovery, compliance, and investigations, and the complexities of large-scale unstructured data. He will report directly to CEO Danny Pidutti.

Prior to joining Lightning IQ, Mr. Kinney was Senior Vice President at ProSearch working with Fortune 500 legal departments to develop data strategies across eDiscovery, compliance programs, information governance, and breach response. He previously held leadership roles at several global consulting and technology firms – including Esquire Litigation Solutions (now part of DTI-Epiq), Canon and HPE, where he focused on digital transformation, high-volume unstructured data workflows, and enterprise risk reduction.

Mr. Kinney earned his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with an emphasis in International Business from the University of Iowa and has held multiple certifications in computer forensics and enterprise data management.
